The Driver Dispatch module serves as the central hub for all delivery activity in a store. As drivers arrive to start their shift, they clock in on the system and enter their starting mileage if required. The system places them at the bottom of the Next Driver list in order to equitably manage the flow of drivers in and out of the store.
Once a driver is ready to deliver customer orders, they simply touch each order to add it to their assignment list or touch it again to remove. (top right) Once they are ready to leave, they click a single button and out the door they go.
When they come back from their delivery, a simple touch of the In-the-Door button followed by swiping their employee card or entering their employee number and they are back on the list for their next delivery.
The system tracks all time-related performance criteria associated with deliveries in order to analyze store performance and customer satisfaction. Other features include cash drops, employee delivery summary, on the road review and order management to name just a few.
Add the optional Mapping Integration component and drivers can easily locate hard to find customers with the touch of a button. This sophisticated feature automatically plots the location and route for each delivery order assigned to a driver. The driver can zoom in and out and either print a complete map of the delivery or choose to print turn-by-turn directions on a receipt printer. (bottom right)
